An occlusal guard, often referred to as night guard or bite split, is a removable appliance that fits over your upper or lower teeth and helps to prevent damage caused by clenching and grinding. Occlusal guards can help ease your grinding symptoms and protect your teeth and jaw from further damage. According to the ADA, 10 to 15% of adults grind and clench their teeth. We will use our digital scanner to capture scans of your mouth so our lab can create a guard designed specifically for your needs.
